Participating Sidewalk Astronomy for the first time, we provided C8 for the public to observe Mars and the moon. Many other amateur astronomers in Hong Kong also brought their best instruments, including FSQ106, TOA130, Mewlon 250, DIY scopes, etc. Since many other scopes were targeted at the moon, many people used our scope to view Mars. With the use of various filters, amazing details of the Martian atmosphere and surface features were observed.
