Partial Solar Eclipse Observation (15-1-2010)

A partial solar eclipse began at 3:33pm and so did our observation. Many solar filters were passed around for everyone to enjoy the show, together with white light and hydrogen-alpha telescopes for providing more fantastic magnified views. Maximum eclipse occurred at 4:54pm when almost 67% of the sun's diameter were obstructed by the moon. Although our observation came to an end at this very moment because of the shadow of nearby buildings, the stunning beauty of the cresent-shaped sun will linger long in our memory.
